Sara woke up this morning with contractions. They were not major, but they were frequent. She called the doctor and the doctor said "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"
Needless to say, we called another doctor, who said she could either wait at home to see what happens or go to the hospital and get checked out. We waited at home. Sara's parents came over around 1:30 to make some bread. Shortly thereafter, Sara started feeling a bit worse and we decided to go to the hospital. We got there at 3:10.
We got the room and barely had time to get Sara strapped with monitors before she inconsiderately exploded all over the doctor on call and nurses. After they yelled "WOAH!" and jumped back, they got back to work and within 8 minutes of being in the room, I had another daughter.
Brynn Elizabeth Aion was born at 3:23pm on February 20, 2011. She was 6 pounds, 11 ounces and 18 inches long. She's about 2 weeks early, but everyone is happy and healthy. Sara does not even look like she gave birth. She is amazing.
Also, I now need a new name for my blog. Suggestions?
